Cutting-edge materials with Aluula

Our ‘Pro’ products feature the latest generation lightweight Aluula material with improved longevity, durability and performance. With Aluula in the leading edge and XT Light in the struts and X4 canopy, the RS Pro V2 sheds weight without compromising strength. The reduced diameter leading edge adds stiffness and cuts drag, while the struts twist more freely for a sharp response and faster loops.

The RS Pro V2 is designed for freeride with loop lovers in mind. Its stiff frame and forward momentum generate massive hangtime with smooth, predictable recovery. Upgraded with Teijin’s X6 ripstop, V2 is lighter and tougher where it counts. A rotated leading edge seam reduces snag, and triple-closing seams lock in durability. A refined arc boosts low-end power, while new bridle settings deliver even sharper bar feel, and the upgraded kite bag offers smarter, more compact storage.

Our superior X4 canopy fabric is strong and tear-resistant to guarantee durability and lasting performance. X4 is engineered to be dynamic and developed exclusively in partnership with Teijin, the leading supplier of sailcloth materials. Made from the best 4×4 ripstop polyester yarn, X4 has less elongation and a high-temperature UV-resistant resin finish.

X6 ripstop is our new fundamental secondary material used in trailing edges to increase stability and tension. X6 is a lightweight ultra-high tenacity polyester yarn with less elongation which reduces flutter. This allows for the canopy to retain its tenacity and adds durability over time. X6 has improved the force transition between the inflatable structure and the canopy significantly.

To ensure your kite can take a beating, every seam is glued and stitched for maximum durability.

Push the pin and turn counter-clockwise to the upward position for inflation. Push the pin down and turn clockwise for simple deflation.

Each Strut has a double strut head reinforcement to create a solid inflatable kite frame. This allows for optimum turning and smoother handling.

A triple-reinforced closing seam along the leading edge makes it practically indestructible. The centre segments have stronger reinforcements as the material load is much higher compared to the smaller diameter of the wingtips.

Angled reinforcements along the trailing edge diffuse the load and strain on the canopy, making it more durable while improving kite stability and longevity.

Trim the kite according to your riding style and the wind conditions by switching between different bridle line turning settings. The pivot set-up makes the kite faster and offers more depower, while the tip set-up increases the turning radius and offers more power and grunt. All our kites have the standard middle set-up pre-selected to offer the best balance.

The load transition between the inflatable frame structure and the ripstop material is optimised for improved stability and durability. An extra layer of double ripstop sits between the inflatable structure and the X4 ripstop to protect the load.
